Don’t waste a CB on AirPods.
You can only CB so many times so must be worth it

I filed an Action Fraud report and sent it to them. I also emphasised that the police refused to issue me a report. They responded and said this:

“We couldn't verify the details of the Crime Reference you provided. Action force report won't work. I request you to urge the police station to provide you with a physical or a pdf police report”

I’m not sure what to do at this point, it’s like talking to a brick wall. What should I tell them?

I have one last question, I’ve opted for a CB and was wondering if I could use the AirPods in the meantime? I haven’t officially filed the CB yet because the payment is still pending but probably will tomorrow.
