Amazon 2000$ GPU SE #1
Been looking to upgrade my GPU but I haven't had the funds. Do you believe this would be possible on a 5 year old account with only 2000$ total spent? I don't believe resealed method would work, as GPU boxes arent sealed. And I dont have another adress for "Wrong item" to work either. Would FTID be my next best option? I've learned the 5 methods and people seem to lean towards 3, but any other feedback is greatly appreciated. DNA or PEB could maybe work as well? I'd assume they'd need a PR for something this expensive though, and the GPU would weight almost 5 pounds so that might be too noticeable for PEB/EB

Your account Is In very good standing.

Were there any SEs performed? If so, how long ago was the last one?

Is an OTP required on delivery?

What's the precise weight of the GPU?

Yes, one DNA for a pair of 85$ish earbuds about 6 months back. And 4-5 legit returns overall (Two of which I chose to return but they told me to keep them, one being a hair product that had been opened and the other a tablet from china that took over a month to finally ship.)

Unsure about the OTP, although I've never had one before (Biggest order was a 1100$ laptop back in early 2019) - Wouldn't know until I order which would be a few weeks from now

Weight would be ‎5.24 pounds‎. Although this could change slightly if I change model/it goes out of stock before I figure out which method to do and how

Find out for sure If an OTP will be required.

If not, hit the DNA method.

Whatever the case may be, It's way too heavy for the PEB/missing Item method.

How exactly would I find out if OTP is required without ordering it? Never seen this mentioned before on amazon. Do you go to the station for the PR if needed? Can it be done online? Would rather not make a big deal or have them talking to neighbors

I also was curious about if I ordered from Amazon Warehouse instead. Theyre all used items, so they can be liable to make mistakes and accept swaps. Can I claim that the item in the box had been swapped out with an older GPU? And then send them back an old GPU in the box when requested.

Enquire as though you're a concerned (legit) customer who'd like to place an order, and to make sure the goods arrive safely, ask how the package will be delivered and accepted.

It's a commonality with Amazon with high value Items, of which the cost of the GPU Is part of the equation.

In person or (where available) online.

Correct, don't get the neighbors Involved.

Be sure It's a like-for-like GPU, and not one that's completely different to the original.

Hmm, are you sure this would matter? If they had shipped me a used Rtx 3080 box (with a gtx 1070 inside), couldn't I just push that as mistake made in the warehouse? I've heard stories of people recieivng the correct box with the wrong item inside which is how I came up with this theory. I'll call about the OTP though to see what my options are.

I'm just maximizing the success rate.

Amazon Warehouse Deals works by selling returned/pre-owned and refurbished products, which are Inspected by their quality control team prior to being sold. Although possible, It's not likely that a different Item will pass through final Inspection.

Don't get me wrong, an Incorrect Item In the right box can work, but can also fail for the above reason.

Alright, found out I'd need a OTP. This rules out DNA - Does this only leave FITD or LIT as my options then? American UPS Amazon returns btw. LIT Seems very hard to pull off consistently, and I'd need help with the MaxiCode on current FITD method
