Airpods pro battery leak, Apple SE

I found a valid serial number online and I started the process to get the "AirPods" I "own" replaced. Said white was leaking out the bottom between the silver and the white. Also said to keep from it hurting me or anything I threw them away. It is being escalated to health and safety. Any tips? Any pieces of evidence I need? I am getting a call at 1 pm Arizona time it is 9 am at the time of posting. Please help

It was denied due to me needed to take the leaking airpods into a apple store, so I'm just letting the community know that they are doing this now

You should've told them that due to COVID-19 restrictions, you cannot physically attend an Apple store, but you're more than happy to return It via carrier and box them thereafter.
