In this case, It won't make any difference for the fact that you'll claim that upon opening the box, the AirPods were missing.

It's happened countless times with Amazon. The Image below, represents a legit claim.

I read your posts on your blog ab partial empty box and now, combined with the picture you've linked, I'm confused. For PEB do I claim that the amazon box is intact but the entire airpods box is missing, or do I claim that the amazon box and airpods box are intact but the actual airpods themselves are missing?

Don't elaborate with specifics. Too much Information (where It's not Initially needed), may work against you.

Simply say you opened the box, and the AirPods were not enclosed.

The support rep is taking a lot of time to deal with my “problem” should I just cut and find a different rep?
The rep now told me that she forwarded my problem to the resolution team and that they will email me in 48 hours, is this bad?
"I can understand , but I am sorry since it is a high value item the specialist team need to investigate this and hence 48 hours"

Amazon de has sent an Incident Report to my email w the following qs.

Incident Report
1. Order number.
2. Date Incident Report was completed. DD/MM/YYYY
3. Date you noticed your item(s) had not arrived. DD/MM/YYYY
4. Package tracking number.
5. Description of the item(s) you did not receive.
6. Have you experienced prior missing parts/items from Amazon?
7. If yes, how many times has this happened and were they delivered to the same location as the package in question?

I should fill this out right?

Yes, That is just the procedure for them to file the claim for their insurance. Fill it out and send it back to them and they will continue with the refund.

Is this possible to do with two pairs in the same order?

It's possible, but unlikely that both AirPods happened to be missing on the same order/consignment.

Play It smart by sticking with an approach that has a high success rate - namely a single claim.
