AirPods Pro warranty

Hey how's it going everyone,

I SE'd some AirPod Pros 9 months ago and the last few days I have noticed that the battery is getting extremely weak.

Does anyone know a way how I can go to the Apple Store and get myself some new ones for free? I would hate to pay the 50$ fine. Unfortunately I don't have AppleCare+, but the general warranty is still intact as far as I know.

If you have no use for your current AirPods, purchase some new ones, claim they're defective and when they request the return, send your faulty AirPods for a refund.

This can be done with any company, obviously Amazon Is the better choice. The only drawback Is they "may" check the serial number.

You'll be returning a like-for-like product that's defective, with the Intention to receive a refund.
