Hello community. So, I need some help, I'm a bit new to all this hacking stuff. I've done it before, but all I have done was only by watching videos on YouTube, so.....yea, I need some help with improving my hacking skills. What I am basicly asking for is a good starting point. Can anyone suggest me what should I start learning(programming language, OS) to become web and later one system/network hacker? I have done a lot of research on the internet about hackers, who they are, their attitude and other stuffs which come with that word, so I don't need explanation about that. Thank You in advance.

Java is the superior programming language.

Java? Ok so thats for web hacking, BUT system/network hacking isn't connected with java? Right? I had some suggestions about Python and C++, but I don't know which one is superior? Any advice?

LOLing...Java is a very versatile, cross platform language that can be used for just about anything you can imagine, within common sense reason.
And aside from my humorous inference regarding Java, the best programming language is the programming language that fits the exact needs each individual requires.
For that, it will depend solely upon you.
Though were I in beginning the IT field, I'll opinionate perhaps Python being a good starting language and leave an opening for other Members to give their own personal experience a chance to speak.

That depends on what you're more familiar with, Windows or Linux.
If Windows, then logic would dictate you download Backtrack 5 or Kali Linux to operate in a virtual machine.
If Linux, which I doubt, due to the very question you're asking, I'd suggest Ubuntu 12.04LTS, LinuxMint LTS, or even Linux Lite LTS for a beginning stage introduction to the Linux world.

Welcome to HC, I'd also recommend python as it's easy to pick up and is quite a versatile language, and Linux for you OS, if you're a beginner to Linux any of the suggestions made by Linuxephus will be fine
