AMD ain't bad though I used it and it was running just as smooth as my laptop with Intel. But either way I choose Intel over AMD.

If you aren't going to do extensive tasks AMD is just fine for the average person who browses, downloads, plays a few games, etc.

This laptop is running a Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 it's outdated but it handles fine for normal tasks i'm going to probably upgrade it to the max capable which is a T9500.

Well id love to see you say that after you use my old desktop which hasn't been turned on in years its a 2005 slow AF. It takes 10 minutes to boot up, thats if it boots up.

This laptop gets a little slow when I play my music with photo shop, skype and opera running. But I guess photo shop is not technically an average thing either.

Anything that is 2-3 years old doesn't tend to be up to scratch for multi tasking these days anyway so using a machine that's 10 years old and still running bloatware aka windows is stupid, install linux on it and it'll be beautiful.

And it should be after 10 years. Only laptops I have heard about that last that long are Thinkpads.

This laptop is a 2007 Toshiba which puts it at 9 years? well thats calculating up to 2016 considering 2015 is almost over, correct me if I am wrong I am not a math guy.

So now you just heard of a Toshiba lasting that long.

Toshiba's last a long time too, so do those Thinkpads, I had one well, my sister had one and it was pretty good it ran Ubuntu.

The tower PC is a custom build from back then, it ran with a Biostar board.
