Obviously not. But since I've used it with the SN-Method, I dont have the original packaging. The rep told me it is fine the way I "packed" it.

Like this: I put the CPU in the plastic bag -> then I put the plastic bag inside an bubble wrap film -> in the last step i put the bubble wrap film inside the actual bubble-wrapped box.
All in all, the CPU is double-secured with two layers of bubble wrap.
I understand the packing side of things, but given you've boxed them, why did you pack the CPU?

For your information: I packed the "CPU" inside a plastic bag, inside a bubble wrap. inside a bubble-wrapped envelope.

Maybe I get the question wrong, but I didn't want to just send a completely EB because nobody packs their CPU so "ruthlessly". I wanted to give the rep more confidence in me by asking if I could double secure the CPU "just to be on the safe side". In the end, however, the "thief" only "stole" the CPU itself (and not the extra packaging).

Okay, as It stands (as per below), the packaging Is definitely consistent with tampering, which explains and justifies why they haven't received the CPU.

They also included pictures (where you can clearly see that it got re-sealed with the silver packet band).

If you have the pictures on hand, tell them what you've stated above, but don't mention It was stolen In transit. You're not supposed to have any Idea of what's happening at this stage.
See how they respond and If need be, you can claim loss of goods In transit as developments unfold.

Got it. I will only give them as much information as necessary so that I don't block my own paths during the SE.

Correct, every SE Is a step-by-step process, so do not provide any more details than you have to during each step.

Got a response today. They still claim that they cannot proceed until i've shipped the CPU. I told them again that the silver package band isn't mine. I'll see how they react.
