No problem at all.

I look forward to reading the latest developments.

They'll receive the EB today, waiting for their reply. If they send out a new one, I'll use a drop address.

The packet arrived today at AMD. I am waiting for their response to the EB. If they won't contact me during the weekend / next week, I'll ask what's the status about my repair.

Update: They received the EB. The warehouse escalated it, since there was no CPU inside.
They also claim that they cannot see any signs of tampering on the package and therefore rule out the possibility that it got stolen while in traffic.

For your information: I packed the "CPU" inside a plastic bag, inside a bubble wrap. inside a bubble-wrapped envelope.

I closed the envelope normal. Then I ripped the the envelope open and closed it with silver packet band.
They also included pictures (where you can clearly see that it got re-sealed with the silver packet band).

My approach would be to contact them and say that I did not sealed the package with the packet band, therefore claim it was stolen in transit. Good approach? @mothered

In the actual package is another bubble wrap packaging. In this bubble wrap is a small plastic bag in which the CPU "was".
Like this: I put the CPU in the plastic bag -> then I put the plastic bag inside an bubble wrap film -> in the last step i put the bubble wrap film inside the actual bubble-wrapped box.
All in all, the CPU is double-secured with two layers of bubble wrap.

Was this the way it was originally packaged?
