well when u asked i am cracking amazon.de accounts ( then i look for one's with HQ order ) like : 500€ - 600€ ..etc and i refund them in my gcb to buy stuff from amazon

How would that work? As soon as they open it they will notice and send it back or cancel the refund?

Just to update this: It actually worked and I got an RX 580 for free. I suppose you could also  do this with a 1080 and noone would realize.

I did buy an old GPU second hand back in november for this purpose. With box and everything included.

Did they ask you for to return the wrong item?
If so did you use the box for the RX580 you just received or the original box for the old gpu?
I am debating what would seem less suspicious.
I guess the weight would be the more important factor, as it would raise flags if it was returned weighting 1 pound less or something.

The GPU I have in mind are being sold directly from Amazon_de, not just fulfilled as it sounds like in your case.

Why doesn't Amazon check the package then and just instantly refund you without checking the package first? That's pretty strange, though.

Well you have all these packages coming in its pretty hard to check them all but the people who do the refunds are just sitting in a office just send the refunds.

How would OP get "caught up" when the issue reported was wrong item received?

If you have knowledge about their process of returns, would it make most sense to return the different model in the packaging just received or in its original packaging?
