ADIDAS DNA FAILED--Help #1
Hi guys, adidas didn't work for me with the dna method. First time it doesn't work for me. I wrote to support and they immediately told me that they were not transferring my case to the department, and after 3 hours they replied to me with this email which you see below. They didn't give me any way to argue back because they said to contact the European Internet Dispute Commission. Where did I go wrong this time? It always worked, except now. they have become tougher.

We are writing to you regarding the refund request you made to us for the order A7T71xxxxx, for an amount of: €189.00.

After careful consideration, it has been determined that we will not refund you. After your order has been placed, we will send you a shipping email with your order number and details of the product(s) you have purchased. We consider this dispatch email to be confirmation from our warehouse that the items have been packed and shipped in full.

If you are not satisfied with the result and would like more information on the
online dispute resolution, please follow this link to the European Commission website: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/ odr/ .

Same happened to me recently. Got stuck with a bill for close to €400. They said they connected my claim to a previous claim which had been made. I used a new address and everything. It fucked up my entire week. I kept the shit anyway and just took the hit. It was stuff I wanted anyway, although if I knew beforehand I wouldn't have bothered. Live and learn... Looks like the easy free shit from Adidas days is over. Which is a shame. I like their gear.

It seems that they were able to link this SE to your previous ones. The question is, what information have you changed (or left unchanged)? Name? Payment? Address? Log-in Device?

Did you also use different devices (or MAC address, IP address, Browser) to log-in for purchases?

Interesting. I guess we'll wait for some OPSEC experts here to figure out how they were able to do it.

The payment method I used was different, but it was registered to the same address as the other payment method. That's how they got me. Everything else was different, but I don't have multiple credit cards with multiple addresses to use so that's a big limitation for me.

Got it. That makes a lot of sense.

That's total BS.

As a dissatisfied buyer, you're well within your rights to request an escalation.

You had an array of ways to argue back.

Just because they made the decision to decline your claim, It doesn't mean It's correct, nor does It suggest you cannot take It any further. In future, don't allow any representative to put you on the back foot - hit them hard.

If you can't afford it that was the right move. I probably should have, but I got some excellent runners and started doing more road-running recently, so I could justify keeping them.

Would like to hear what other people have experienced with Adidas recently.
