Hi guys,
I want to do my SE for the first time, but I have a small question.
I will try to do DNA method for package from famous clothing store. I have my account for around 4 years and I spent there around 1.3k$.
I live in apartment in a block of flats, and usually when I am at work delivery guy is calling to me and asking if he can leave the package at the security guy in my block, I am saying "yes" and than I just need to go there and take my package. They are propably not taking any photos and not taking any sign, do you think that it could work?

If that's the case, you're good to go with the DNA.

One more question, I am not quite sure, but i think that security guy might have a CCTV at his working place, won't it be a problem? They could check the cameras that package has been delivered. And also how about UPS, are they easy to SE as FedEx or DHL?

Sure, he received the package, but DID YOU?
Maybe, just maybe, you could send a friend to pick it up for you, so you can absolutely deny receiving it in person since the CCTV (if they every wanted to check, I think it would require a warrant / investigation?) would show someone else picking it up

Cameras are privately owned, so unless the owner consents, on one has the right to view the footage. It can only be done with a court order, which It will never come to that.

If the security person Is not In support of your claim, that's when It can work against you.

As long as It's not DPD (who tend to take photos of the delivery point), you'll be fine.

That said, photos can easily be circumvented, but I'm basing this on simplicity.

Yeah, that's what I am worried about the most, that seciurity guy will be responsible for that and that they will be trying to worked out this situation with all their possibilities, and they could make me troubles..

I think it might be heavy to find other metod, I wanted to order a hoodie and a pants, so missing item is not possible, weight aroundd 800g i think..
I was thinking to call a delivery guy in a day of delivery and tell that I have a covid and tell him to leave the package under doors of my flat, he probably won't be taking pictures. But can't a phone call prove that I told him to do it? And there is a risk that he will be coming to my home to ask me a question if I will make a refund.. Maybe do you have other idea?

If you give Instructions to leave the package at a given location/safe place, you'll be responsible for loss of goods during shipment.

Even if it will be comunication via phone calling? I think he won't record our conversation.

That's problematic because I don't want to make my friend troubles If the courier will be coming to ask why they are make a refund if he deliver the package :/
