Did you present a copy of your receipt whether from an email or a physical copy? Pretty odd that my Walmart seems to be the only one doing that. But I guess as stated, it works on a store-to-store basis.

I'm referring to Target:

In my locality, Target (In-store) operates In a similar fashion- with each and every store I physically SEd.

I've SEd them with and without a receipt. The latter resulted In an In-store credit to the same value of the purchased Item.
