I've just googled and read that one person was charged with 50,700 charges related to computer crimes, but only got a two-year suspended sentence.

That's an astonishing figure.

I've never come across anyone with 50k charges, let alone receiving a suspended sentence. You'd think there'd be at least one charge In the 50,000+, that would warrant a harsher penalty.

Probably plea deal, or informant/federal employee now. I know members where this was the case.
