Yes, it was the reason. But i don't think it proves anything. As far as someone is concerned on the footage there is a box with a couple of items inside, but where it's goes from  there can't be shown or proved. This could be another box for another customer, you can't see the shipping label or all the items inside, to compare them with the invoice.

Timestamps are recorded with every order placed on the conveyor belt, and then matched with the footage taken by the overhead cameras on the packing bench.

The evidence Is the association between both records.

i filed a claim with PP and now i am waiting for their decision. Anyway, i was buying these stuff for a friend so regardless of the outcome i have nothing to lose.

Given It's the busiest time of year, PayPal may not bother Investigating the matter.
