touch the pins with screwdriver(french screwdriver or something else to make a closed circuit), i think its the third and forth pins make them connect to  eachothers to power on (its ok if you tried 3 pins or more your will laptop will work fine).

ive tried and it hasn'tr booted (ive tried with most pins)

ok bro if you can't open it, and you still have the problem with your laptop try to buy a new button. don't forget to reply when you fix the problem ,good luck!

like i said before, i dont think its the power button, i really dont want to wait a few days either.

Unfortunately, this has come to a process of elimination to Identify the Issue.

I'd be very Interested In reading the cause & fix.

hopefully its just a bios problem,however i can even boot into the repair utility for it
