I've searched for a way to get a new crucial SSD, I have a few serial numbers to try with they have a 3 yr warranty for the SSD's.

I just need help with how to perform SE without sending back original SSD and a good excuse (how to talk/explain about dead SSD and solutions not working)  I don't know much about computers but i believe if i know how to talk like i know SSD's than i can be successful with getting a replacement.

also, is it advised to use drop or is my own addy fine if i succeed?

Use a drop, it’s always safer. In terms of the method, you could say you are self isolating due to Corona.

thank you, how does one go about getting a drop addy in US ? i live in big apt complex so could i just use address of property but no apt # and they would just deliver to leasing office or you think they would just leave at nearest post office?
