I want to say that I just did this, managed to SE one of their Xbox controllers and they are sending out a replacement. they asked for a picture of the controller which I found on eBay and for some reason a screenshot of my amazon order history but not an invoice, it was pretty easy all I had to do was a little bit of inspect element.

I'm quite surprised they did not request the Invoice- It's usually the first thing they'd need to approve the claim.
