[mothered]

I have just received the refund into my revolut.

Well done, congrats.

Do you happen to know if couries when taking deliveries scan the awb number or just the barcode?

A number cannot be scanned, but rather the barcode- which Is linked to the AWB number.

Every time an air freight shipment Is scanned by Its "code" (barcode), the respective AWB number Is automatically updated during transit until It reaches Its destination. This Is why you can track your package just by referencing Its AWB number. It basically ensures tracking from sender to receiver.

I want to replicate this but the woman working at the post office insisted on having the awb number on the package and put it herself on my second ftid attempt I sent.

What exactly happened?

The AWB Is Issued by the air carrier, so unless she already had the documents on hand, I don't understand how she put It on herself.

The way I see it this is probably even better than returning with the amazon courier as there is literally nothing linking me to the order except the awb.

Just to confirm, are the "sender's details" (yours) on the AWB not linked to you In any way?
