Has amazon ever investigsted people after banning them?? I though they just ban and thats it.

If they have reason to, then yes, they will Investigate.

A banned account Is simply closed, but still kept on file as a point of reference.

No I'm not. I've had first-hand experience for over three decades with companies on every scale.

If there's no point of reference with (previous) banned accounts, on what grounds do you think fresh accounts keep getting banned?
