Smart. I'm thinking why even place anything broken inside. Find some dense materials and just fake the entire weight. Wonder what material would be good for filling weight like that. But yeah, I definitely agree, those few extra steps are what can differentiate a successful and a failed SE.

yes ... I want to try this method because I have various objects such as PCs and televisions that don't work ... it would be nice not to throw them away but to reuse them

Yeah, I used to get a lot of broken electronics having worked in an e-waste sorting facility and my boss being super chill letting me take whatever I wanted. I got a bunch of stuff replaced with fake receipts. I never really thought to get better things with the same broken products.

I have many objects that I have at home are reconditioned by me ... the PC I am writing with now comes from a landfill XD...however I was thinking of another method ... if I took an object (suppose a ps4) and I sent it back saying I had the wrong object and I fill the case (with ice or other material to match the weight) would it work? obviously the item taken with SE cannot be sold
