I wouldn't change the address.
You can easily box the airpods. You don't even need to manipulate the tracking label.
For iPhone, you should probably FTID.

To clarify, you stuck the tracking label on an envelope for paper mail folded in half/thirds, or a bigger envelope that'll fit paper flat?
