Did you purchase the wrong Item from "Amazon", using a different account altogether?

I did, however the accounts address used was once in my address list, but a very long time ago. Would you imagine they'd check this? Also, do you know if this is a typical response to a high value return just to gauge what the buyer is going to do? As in, is it a typical bluff considering this happens so much.
