Yeah, guess I am getting ahead of myself. This was his response today: "Please send me photos on the machine and battery. I need a photo of the serial # tag as well." Should I just keep corrupting the files?

Corrupt the files and see how they respond to It.

Be sure to keep sending them In a different file format, and tell them It's working fine on your end. This gives the Impression that you're doing your utmost best to resolve the matter.

I have a legitimate photo of the person's Lenovo box, it looks like a photo that I could've taken. Do you think I could sneak in a legitimate photo with the corrupted files or just straight corrupted files? Maybe add to the legitimacy of my claim, but I'm not too sure.

I've not SEd Lenovo before but other smaller companies and used the excuse "I'm sorry, my phone is broken so that's probably why it's not taking photos right.. Here's a photo I managed to take before it broke" and it's worked.
