Bad think of this is that it will create a placebo effect over the economy, when the thing freeze you will be able to see the effects of this, maybe it goes up now due to paranoid buying, but everything that goes up faster goes down the 2x of faster...

When ex-amount of people start panic buying, others tend to follow suit and before you know It, the majority of the community overreacts with such nonsense.

Then the snowball effect starts and when you look back everything is more ruined than before and that will be a major problem in the near future.
