I'll begin the SE today, I'll let everyone know how it progresses. Quick question though, should I register the product or can I just claim it as faulty without registering it? Should I also use my real address/name?(02-16-2020, 04:59 AM)neekhavod Wrote: What do you think about the story being about an inflated battery/smoking battery, causing me to throw away the laptop?
Errors In manufacturing, can cause batteries to overheat and potentially catch fire, so this Is very much a realistic occurrence.
Companies tend to take the matter more seriously, when you mention that you've suffered burns when disposing the unit.
You can do with, or without registering the Item.
In terms of your real name & address, do remember that the company believes the SE Is a legit claim, hence It won't be a problem. If you want to keep your Identity anonymized, then that's entirely up to you.
