Is the serial still under warranty?

I read up on how others played this scenario out and it seems either the DNA method or claiming it was faulty, was how they succeeded. Preferably gonna do the latter

They will request the return of the laptop, so be prepared for It.

The laptop is still, thankfully, still under warranty, I just checked. And what if I claim there was some hazardous condition that I had to dispose of the laptop, would they just send a replacement?
