Is what they said, so I said it was given to me as a gift (earlier I said I bought it from you but that shouldn't matter much) and I said I can't get it off them due to health reasons. If they ask the reasons I'll say they're sick and in the hospital or some along them lines. Sounds a bit cruel to ask for a invoice if someones ill...
Given It's only a week away from Christmas, alternatively, you can say that the person has gone on vacation and Is not expected back until the end of January, hence you cannot get a hold of the Invoice.
Vacations are a commonality during this time of year, so It does sound legit.
I understand your concern, but the purchase invoice is mandatory for warranty validation. In other way to help you out, we tried validating the product with the product S/N, but it did not help, as it is out of warranty.
Is there a way to check if a logitech product is in warranty?
