I think they need to learn to be clearer...

If they had said we need the bank info because we may refund you the amount then i can understand but this wasn't so clear.

If you are happy to provide the bank info to them then i would go ahead, sounds like you may be getting some money now (fingers crossed)

You shouldn't tie any of your REAL information to a SE, for obvious reasons.

However from what I've read; they're just tryna refund you, looks simple enough. Don't be quick to be suspicious; the whole point of SEing is to make them believe you, and so far it looks like they believe you.
