Useful tip, but the ordeal you had to go through to find it was shitty. Weird that they accepted a US agency though when neither of you lived there, but I guess the support rep isn't really gonna question "government documentation".

I find it pretty weird too but this could be very useful. Could this be a way to get refunds and SE's done straight away?

Potentially if you were asked for a police report this could be used as a last resort to save your SE. It would have to be tested though for me to confirm.

You can bypass Police reports on Amazon by saying the police in your area said they won't deal with such a petty case...
