This is quite funny. As I used the burnt method around 10 times with oneplus. Apparently they want me to keep my mouth shut so they just give me a replacement? They're verrryyyyi intelligent lol

Vulva,  what is your  burnt method, you don't really burn your Oneplus ?  i would like to do same with my Samsung S8

What you could do is either approach this two ways by first saying the phone started to produce a weird sound and started to catch on fire and or you could say that the phone is leaking battery acid ( read this on the forums about headphones but i feel it can be applied to this too) i would recommend the phone leaking battery acid method as you could simply say that you have alr discarded the phone also as for the phone burnt method they would want a picture so i would approach it with the 1st btw please keep a clear head when doing these things sound a little worried or angry as those are the best way to get sympathy and as for what i learned from @Vulva i would come out with threats like i could potentially report you guys to the new sources or smt like that companies would suck it up but nevertheless interesting post to read
