I can't imagine how much time they spent emulating the behavior of so many Linux system calls in the Windows context. I just wonder how the Linux kernel is communicating with the hardware. Still can't wrap my head around the fact that Microsoft will be shipping a Linux kernel with Windows as well. Seems like the year of running Linux on the desktop has finally arrived, It only took Microsoft to do it ironically.
