I never thought that Empty box method would work for items over 130g's so i've never really tried it. But the empty box method works with light weight items because the weight difference when weighing the parcel is so marginal, that the company can't really dispute you saying the box was empty.

Yeah I know about the lightweight stuff but I know some people who have done 1kg+ emtpy box refunds.
