Fitbit got back to me.
"We appreciate you for getting back to us with the requested information.
We’re happy to provide a replacement for defective devices covered by our warranty. Before we can send the replacement, we need you to return the Charge 3 tracker and charging cable to us at the address below. We’ll provide you with a prepaid shipping label. After we receive your package, we'll send your replacement within seven to ten business days.
Keep all removable bands and return only the device and charging cable. For instructions on how to remove the band from your device, see here.
In line with this, please provide the following information so we can send you a shipping label:
Full name
Street address (line 1)
Street address (line 2)
City
Postal code
Phone number
Please note that Fitbit is not responsible for lost-in-transit packages that were shipped without a tracking number.
We look forward to hearing from you and getting you back on track. Let us know if you have additional questions"
They want me to send back just the tracker. No bands or anything, this could be easily boxed right? I imagine the tracker would not throw up any questions or red flags, maybe I could hide a little coin in the box they send me to make up the weight.
