If it's a ring for £300, I can't imagine it's going to be full of heavy diamonds and such, so I'd assume it won't register a weight, therefor they have no proof they sent it you.

If you bank with any main bank (halifax, barclays, etc), you should get the refund the next day after they send it you. If you bank with Monzo or Sterling, you'll get it much quicker.

I've had refunds go through at 10pm but they don't really register until the next day. I always say that if they initiate a refund before 5pm, you'll get it next day, otherwise you'll be waiting a day extra. So if you haven't done the refund already, I suggest getting it done before 5pm today if you want it tomorrow.
