Hello,

I have been doing much research and I bumped into this forum. I live in a suite with 5 roommates and my amazon package was legitimately stolen from me.

I assumed someone else picked it up before me. Anyways, it is my first order from Amazon as I just found out about the student prime accounts. I panicked and contacted Amazon.ca via live chat right away, contacted 5 different people that day and was told to wait till Monday.

Monday comes, they told me they need to do an investigation and to contact back on Wednesday. I contact again and again as I am becoming frustrated. A customer rep actually told me that I have been told to contact back on Wednesday several times. So I guess they do read the pass chat transcripts.

Today is Wednesday. I contact them again. They said I need a police report. I am just a student and I am hesitant to file a report (especially when I hear that the police does not care). However, it pains me that from my first ever Amazon order, I have lost a package already.


Anyways, what else can I do? I really want to avoid getting the police involved if possible.
