If I don't buzz them in or sign off they will leave it in the community mailbox which requires a key that only I would have.

This Is a little confusing. If It requires a key, they cannot leave It In the mailbox.

Please clarify.

Sorry. so what happens is they put the item in the community mailbox and then they put the key in your mailbox. you grab the key from your mailbox and use it to open the community one. then you return the key by throwing it into a slot beside the mailbox.
