As a matter of Interest with the following, did the wrong Item match the weight of the CPU, or did they simply take your word for It without checking?

My first SE from Amazon prime now was a Ryzen 7 2700x. It arrived in 3-4 hours. An hour later I phoned their support and told them that I received the wrong item. The wrong item I told them that I had received was a box of broken glass cups. Instantaneously I was offered a refund

They simply offered me a refund right then and there. I did not have to provide any details after saying it was just broken glass. If it helps , I've phoned in closer to midnight both times. I'd imagine at this point the representative is just looking to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
