Realized it was just easier to tell them I went with the cheapest option from X carrier and it didn't include a tracking number.

You'll find a lot have this option, or something to that effect.

If not, there's always a way to avoid tracking- depending on the company, their terms and where you're located.

The company I'm currently SEing doesn't give prepaid shipping labels, or state anywhere that you are required to have a tracking number, so I told them I used the cheapest USPS option which didn't come with tracking. Let's see if they'll just give me the benefit of the doubt.
