Not really sure, it would depend really. If you don't have a job and suddenly put big amounts of money on your b4nk account, they will not be the ones asking questions. The government will. They want you to pay taxes on pretty much everything and not explaining your income could get you into trouble. Bitcoin or other things would be better.

lets say I do refunds for 2000-3000 at 4-5 different stores, will that draw attention ?

My number one goal is to garantee everything is safe, any money gained comes second, so if thats the case im better off just doing one per account
