When sending the empty box back do I make it look like the box was opened? Also how likely is this to work? I tried this method for a heavy ASOS package and it didn’t work. I’m wondering if the light weight of this product will work in my advantage

The box/label must have an appearance consistent with tampering.

For example, a tear on the box (and taped) that's long enough to Indicate the Item was removed during transit, will suffice. Be sure the weight of the empty box matches with the original weight of when It was received with the Item enclosed. A tiny amount of dry Ice will do the job.
