I've just ordered a 1080TI for a grand total of $780 after tax. I have another order that I received just yesterday for about $500. I'm nervous about refunding the GPU because of the price tag, but there's almost $300 there I'd be losing. Should I play it safe and do the $500 (no signature, but was placed in parcel locker), or wait for the GPU to arrive and try that? I basically need to message Amazon today or tomorrow because time is ticking and the GPU isn't here for another week at least.
If they ask for a signature, how could I get around it for a refund? I'm not going to be dumb and do empty box, I'm looking for a smarter method to get a refund without needed to return the item to Amazon. I'd greatly appreciate tips.
No you dont want to refund something in a pacel locker.. since only you have the code to open it. You wont get your refund for the 500.
780$ will not trigger a signature. Usually amazon will tell you the package requires a signature or not on your order page. 780$ is nothing imo. you should be good. When package arrives, wait a full day. then message the CS. otherwise the system wont let them to do it.
