CPU: I could make an excuse that one of the pins was bent or that the wrong cpu was in the box. The problem is I'm not sure how often the pin gets bent in the box, or if Amazon would know if I got sent the wrong one. They would probably make me send the CPU back either way, and I need to figure out how to get around that.

Pins do not get bent in the box. And knowing the type of person that does uneducated retail theft, it's likely an Intel processor you're stealing. Intel CPUs use LGA (Land Grid Array) silicon, meaning there aren't any pins on the CPU. You'd have better luck using a freezer to crack the solder on the die cap, then having Amazon exchange your CPU and give you a 50% discount. Easy way to get half off.

SSD: I could probably say that when it arrived I received an SSD with a smaller capacity than advertised. I have smaller capacity SSD's of the same model so I could send that back. The problem is, it's usually labeled with a small sticker on the SSD box what size the SSD.

That won't work. The model number is specific to the capacity.

Which one do yall think is the best choice? Or is there an easier item to SE that I didn't mention. I need to plan this out before going through

No, that's not OK. That's lying for the purpose of theft. Don't claim package didn't arrive, do some trickery and get them to double send the package.
