As @Bish0pQ mentioned, this Is a good guide for those who're starting off In protecting their Wi-Fi network.

Just adding to this, a lot of users completely overlook their Modem/Router's default login (admin:admin, admin1:admin1 etc), therefore leave It as Is. I strongly suggest changing It and also (where applicable), turn on the Router's firewall and configure all rules accordingly.

My router actually forced me to change these details manually when I first connected to it to set-up my internet, but this isn't the case with most, I believe.

Given I've gotten into other people's routers before using the default, this is a pretty big step for securing it.
