Well, there is that thing about "neither male nor female" as a gender. What bothers me most with this concept though is that the people who invented lost track of their own idea. Gender is more often than not focused around what you "feel" like you are. If you are born a male but feel female, then you are a transsexual and a female in gender. However, if your sex remains male until a sex change. If you do a change then your born sex still remains male, and a health professional should be informed of that if something is wrong with. (Like you get sent to the hospital.)

People (on sites like Tumblr) find it disrespectful when a doctor asks for your 'sex' if they are a transsexual. Though in reality, its kinda important, as it alters the way a possible treatment might go. (Different build ups you know.) People lost track of that and it turned into a shit storm.
