Revenge rep is against the rules, so why would they rep you just because you repped them? Find a valid reason to rep someone, or realize rep doesn't really even matter.

Another point, just because I'm staff doesn't mean I shouldn't have an opinion or have the same priveledges as a normal member.

Just to clarify. Revenge rep isn't actually acknowledged as a concept or against our rules. If someone dislikes you and leaves you a negative rep, there's no reason you shouldn't also dislike them and return the favor. It seems foolish otherwise.

The reason staff aren't able to receive reputation, is because they are sometimes put in both fortunate and unfortunate circumstances quite often. We don't want staff to do their job, whilst having to worry about reputation. We might enable reputation at some point for trial moderators, but never full time staff.
