Obviously I would sell copies of the research to various organizations - with a slight variation to each - for massive amounts of profit. Then I'd ask for close friends/family to find people suffering from it, and give it to them free of charge. Of course, it'd go through multiple middlemen as that's a very tricky business, with the whole 'cancer is a very profitable branch of research'.
