In a corporate environment where volume licensing Is applicable, I agree that It will be a legit product.

As for the average stand-alone consumer, I'd say anywhere between 30-50% opt for a pirated version. Statistically, It's not possible to put a figure on It. Everyone I know does not pay for software, but that's the caliber of people of whom I associate with.

Say 1m customers bought it, one dollar each.
Say 1000 customers pirate it.

Is that really that big of a profit loss? Those companies already have plenty of money, they can deal with a few people getting it free.
