Apple INC = American
Linux = Technically American considering Linus is Finnish/American.
Intel = American
AMD = American
Google = American
Yahoo = American
Walmart = American (ASDA for UK)
Car = Originated in America
Boeing = American
General Electric = American
Lockheed Martin = American
Electricity (not including natural)= American made

The list goes on.

What would the world be like if America did not share these inventions with other countries and expand its development over seas. The truth is, not much. Our country has its ups and downs, our government has its corrupt ways of doing things, we may be hated. But still America is always #1 to help countries in need, #1 with a lot of things. Not all countries may like it but the US is the world leader. Does that mean China or some other country will not advance in the future no but for now US is #1.

I dislike a lot and I mean A LOT of things about this country but there is still no denying the facts.

and American made technology?.

You said American made, not American developed, or owned. Even for the developed part, you can't know the whole team that worked to develop the hardware/software and who had inputs. Example: Intel designing a processor. They might, more than likely will, have more than just Americans on their development team.

I think you're muddying owning/developing with what you actually said, "made".

Yes, America is also #1 in:

• Incarcerated citizens per capita - Most lawyers per capita
  
• You spend the most on military, the next 25 countries combined total what you spend
  
• Highest divorce rate per capita
  
• You export more weapons that any other country
  
• Number of adults that believe angels are real
  
• The highest amount of credit card debt in the world
  
• BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE
  

As I said before as well, just by America being #1 it is harming every one else or putting potential pressure on companies, Governments or what ever else.
