About the video, I'm a bit confused.
It refers to Linux both as an operative system (which is wrong), both as a kernel (which is true).
Also, at 1:40, it compares the developing time of a Linux kernel against the developing time of "other operating systems", which does not make sense (like comparing building time of a engine against building time of a car). Moreover, GNU/Linux OSs like Debian, CentOS or Scientific Linux actually take years to be relased (while others like Fedora or Ubuntu have planned releases).
Sadly, about at 2:10, they do not mention those static analysis techniques they use to prove software correctness, they just talk about some senior developerse who give a look at the code... :Not-Amused:
Probably this video is simply "too soft"?
